Other people like using Martial Tradition to quickly research weapon mods. Quantum Energy Tapping gives +20% energy production. Echo Protocols gives +1 resource production to each job that a worker is assigned to. Personally, I really like using Covert Operative (to get more doctrine slots faster), because Voidtech has two excellent economic doctrines. Now before we jump into all of the synergies between the different races and the Voidtech secret tech, I did want to talk about the popular backgrounds for this secret tech as well as the differences between the 6 types of Echo walkers. Shield Modulator - cost 5 skill points - requires level 6 - gives +1 shields to all units under the command of this hero.
